The short version. This site is a brochure. There's nothing to sign up for, nothing to buy, and nothing to upload. Our products each live on their own domain with their own terms, and if we build something for you, that's covered by a separate written agreement — not by this page.
1 Who we are
MakeHelm Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17433308, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. On this page "we", "us" and "our" mean MakeHelm Ltd, and "this site" means makehelm.com.
You can reach us at [email protected]. By using this site you accept these terms.
2 What this site is
An informational site about our company and the products we build. There are no user accounts, no forms, no payments and no way to submit content. Everything here is published in good faith and may change without notice — we don't promise it is complete or up to date, and you shouldn't rely on it as the basis for a decision without talking to us first.
3 Our products have their own terms
RivalCheck, InternalNewsletter, RaceTrackDesign and any other product we run are separate services on their own domains. Each has its own terms and its own privacy policy, and your use of them is governed by those — not by anything on this page. Describing a product here is not an offer to supply it.
4 Client work
If we build an MVP or anything else for you, that work is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, timescales, ownership and everything else that matters. Nothing on this site is a quote, an offer, or a contract, and no contract exists between us until we've both signed one.
5 Intellectual property
The text, design, illustrations and code of this site belong to MakeHelm Ltd. You're welcome to link to it and to quote reasonable extracts with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale or present it as your own work.
Product names, logos and trade marks belonging to other companies remain theirs.
6 Links to other sites
We link out to our own products and occasionally to other people's sites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your data.
7 Liability
This site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and won't be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, it — including any loss of profit, business or data.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
8 Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
9 Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Questions about any of this? Email [email protected] — it's read by the person who built the site.
